It uses the Imaging
Factory’s Convert to Black&White Pro 3.0

Les’s method uses soft and
hard filtration, in the good old wet darkroom this the blending of Grade 0 and
Grade 5 print exposures
The colour image

Then using convert to B/W
Pro
Grade 0

and
Grade 5

in PS I had the Grade 5 as a
layer above the Grade 0 and the grade 5 was set to Soft Light blend

I tried a straight convert
in Black&White Pro and this was around grade 1.5

Looks like a digital version
of Les’s method has great promise...
